Question 1

What is Jainam Jayati?

Accepted Answer

Jainam Jayati is a sacred home for the global Jain sangh — a free, multilingual web app and PWA that combines daily Jain news, real-time community chat, today's Panchang, 2000+ verified Jain temples and tirths with Near-Me GPS search, Jain dharamshalas and bhojanshalas worldwide, festivals calendar, aarti and knowledge library, plus push-notification announcements.

Question 2

How do I find a Jain temple near me?

Accepted Answer

Open the Temples section and tap the Near Me pill. Jainam Jayati uses your GPS to sort 2000+ verified Jain temples — Shvetambara, Digambara, Sthanakvasi and Terapanthi — by distance, with addresses, phone numbers and facility tags (dharamshala, bhojanshala, gaushala) for each.

Question 3

Where can I find a Jain dharamshala or bhojanshala?

Accepted Answer

The Stay & Bhojan section lists Jain dharamshalas (pilgrim rest houses) and bhojanshalas (satvik dining halls) across India and worldwide, with addresses, phone numbers and GPS locations. A Near-Me toggle sorts them by distance from you.

Question 4

What is today's Jain Panchang?

Accepted Answer

The Panchang section shows today's tithi (with its name and paksh), sunrise, sunset, navkarsi, porsi, sadhporsi, choghadiya and muhurat — all auto-localised to the city you pick (DST-aware for international cities like London, New York, Nairobi).

Question 5

Can I get notifications for Jain announcements and news?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The News and Announcements sections each have independent opt-in push notifications, so you can subscribe to one or both. No login required — notifications work straight from the installed PWA on Android, desktop Chrome / Edge / Brave, and supported iOS versions.

Question 6

Which languages does Jainam Jayati support?

Accepted Answer

Four languages: English, Hindi (हिन्दी), Gujarati (ગુજરાતી) and Marwari (मारवाड़ी). The full interface, panchang, news, announcements and chat all switch language from the header language picker.

Question 7

Is Jainam Jayati free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Jainam Jayati is free for the global Jain sangh — there is no subscription, no signup wall and no payment required to browse temples, read news, view the panchang, join the sangh chat or read stories. The optional marketplace is the only paid surface.
